The Twilight Brigade's trained corps of
volunteers can visit patients in Veterans' Hospitals, Hospices, Hospitals, and Nursing Home care
facilities. Based upon the patient requests and needs, we can provide :
-
A loving presence to those who are alone.
-
Relief and resource support to loved ones and caregivers.
-
Compassionate 24 hour attention and support through the last hours, allowing
people to die in peace and with dignity.
There are never any fees
connected to out services. Service to the dying is provided solely by trained volunteers at no cost to the patient or
family. Our services are available to the terminally ill and their loved ones, whether or not they are hospice appropriate. The Twilight Brigade volunteers do not
provide medical care, medical treatments, or medical advice. That is the
function of licensed professionals. While Twilight Brigade respects each individual's right to choose, we do not endorse suicide or euthanasia.
